My scatpack got stolen jsut 3 days ago despite a kill switch and brake and wheel lock. It was towed off from the spot and my firearm was also in the glove compartment of the car. These thieves are getting more creative by the day I guess my point is if they want your car, they shall get it by any means I am waiting on my insurance claim and if I happen to get a new scat I am most definitely going with Revelco

Nice pistol and extended mag on the seat! It will take no more than a minute or two to get that lock off because they will cut the steering wheel, not the lock.

Get either a Compustar or Viper 2 way paging system. It includes; shock sensor, starter kill. Along with horn honking it comes with siren. I personally tell the Tech to cut a wire in siren. Can't stand the 5 tones. I have standard 1 tone. You can also have a drone system hooked up to notify you on your cell. I think it's shown in this video. Last; there is a system called IGLA. You have to punch in a code via buttons on your steering wheel. The system also prevents from keys being duplicated.

@@robwell10A Kill switch is overrated in my opinion. It won't stop thieves from hauling the car away with a tow truck. These guys are not armatures. They know how to defeat every security measure known to man.

Unfortunately, steering wheel locks are only effective on vehicles that are not as wanted as Dodge Mopars. Thieves are not going to let a simple steering wheel lock stop them from taking a Mopar they target for theft. They'll just bring in a tow truck and haul the car away to safe location that allows them the time needed to remove the steering wheel lock. Hiring 24 hour armed security guards are the only way to keep these cars from being taken. They've been stolen out of people's garages, and other places the owners thought were secure. Thieves are bold enough to steal them right off dealership lots. What makes anyone think a flimsy garage door is going to stop them. Apartment complex, parking lot or a house with a garage doesn't make a difference. These cars are taken no matter where their owners park them and despite having strong anti-theft devices installed.

You can’t 100% prevent it but it’s about making it as hard as you can for them to steal it and not all of the thieves are the smartest or go above and beyond

Man, I’ve had the opportunity to buy a 23 Scatpack widebody, but changed my mind at the last minute. Don’t get me wrong. I still want one, but it seems like owning one is a full-time job. I will never be able to enjoy being out and about. Always having to look over my shoulder and not being able to park just anywhere seems like a huge inconvenience. I can only own it if I keep it in a garage as a weekend toy. As expensive as they are, it just doesn’t seem logical to me to go through all that trouble. Not to mention that you will need to take it directly from the dealer to a shop to install all the security features to lower the chances of it getting stolen. Thieves keep coming up with new ways to steal these. I saw a video the other day of a USB device that hooks up to the USB port. Besides that all they need is an android phone. The safety risks outweigh the amount of fun I could have in it, and not to mention the high cost of owning one of these. A good nights sleep is important to me. I’m glad you’re making it work for you. I still like watching other people enjoy the car.

@@him37404 I'd be more concerned with doing things to prevent the car from being pulled onto a flatbed tow truck if I were you. I've seen cars pulled onto flatbeds without being in neutral. When all else fails thieves will haul a car out on a flatbed if they can't drive it out under it's own power. This means kill switches and other methods that prevent the car from starting won't save it when the tow truck comes in.
