For anyone playing on consoles. Quick tip to make trading easier, use your smartphone to go to the page. Log in as psn or Xbox and trade and whisper as desired while you are logged in to your system, let's you keep playing without the cumbersome aspect of using the site with your controller. And you can keep the trade site up on your phone without resetting it, when you send a whisper you will see it in game in real time.

@@phant0mdummy i get what you are saying. but im not gonna whisper them every time their listing appears on my live search because they incremented their price by 1 exalt. maybe next time I'd keep whispering them to keep raising the price well above the market value and when they finally whisper me back, I refuse to buy their crap hihihihihi.

Noob question - I have items listed in public tab for sale. I get invites from people wanting to buy, but I don’t get the whisper telling me WHICH item they want. Am I doing something wrong?

You probably have your whisper tab not active in chat, or they are simply inviting you without using the whisper button from the official site!

@ Thanks! I had the global chat turned off, thinking I would still get trade requests, but that must have been the issue. As soon as I turned global chat on, I saw the whispers with the item details.

It's legitimately a bad way to price items. This idiot is going to have all kinds of people doing this and wasting people's time based on this incompetent way of pricing things. Why would you not just look at the items, look at the stats and affixes, and judge what you think it's worth based on those? By far, most items you're picking up are worth 1 Exalted Orb or less. It would have to have some VERY good affixes to be worth more than that. Nobody is trying to spend 5 Exalted Orbs on one item if they could spend those 5 orbs on 5 different items that would provide far more of a benefit.

I feel Luke my items are not showing up on the trade site I have probably 30 items for sale and not a single whisper iv even set alot of them at an unusually low price Like 1 ex for quite good items and nothing it's been about 3 days since I started doin it wat do u guys think is there a way to check if something is wrong

It’s just gonna ruin it for me like d3’s auction house did for it. Maybe there will be a mode without trading, here’s hope.

@@ZetzMemp Solo Self Found(SSF) is a gamemode where you can't party with another player or trade with them. However, you will then have to deal with the crafting system which is a RNG hellscape.

@@Sir_Lagg_A_Lot Yeah, I’d rather have a better crafting system than to feel like I’m playing eBay on the side to progress. Also not being able to play with friends is a deal breaker. I’ll just have to enjoy the campaign and move on to monster hunter.

@@Sir_Lagg_A_Lot The value of trying to craft vs trading is just ridiculous. You can buy an incredible weapon for 1 Exalted Orb, or waste 20 to maybe get something decent. I dont even know why people call it crafting it's literally just gambling, there's 0 deterministic or strategic elements. (Except essences, which you get like 10 of through all 6 Acts, most of which are useless for you specific build)

Can't say it's an super awful idea about pricing. But imagine when you see some good price on the market but suddenly watching that keep rising after you sent you request. Well, I hope every player do a little bit of research before they start selling things, then reduce the frequency of repricing things. Otherwise, the buyers would find the market system terrible to use.

How do you even do it? I’ve got a quad premium tab for uniques, all priced at 1 exalt cause I just won’t use them. I’m getting whispers but how the F do you even select that person to invite them? I’m pulling teeth 😭

Keep in mind, the million whispers are just trying to take your item from you at a cheap price, and prey on your apparent lack of game knowledge. Don't feel bad. Just pop it up a tab and move on. They're predators and it only took 3 seconds of their day to try to fleece you.
