How to print embroidery with no embroidery machine

In this video I am showing you how to print embroidery with no embroidery machine. When you see this in person it plays tricks on your eyes. The look can trick the untrained eye but once you see it you won't want to print any other way. Let me know what you think about this method.

Thank you. Yup, just a lot more difficult to get all the detail, most people are not doing all the separations etc involved in screen printing. That’s one of the reasons screen printers will be around.

There is a tool called patch maker tools and you can convert any PNG into embroidery mock up files and print for DTG/DTF. The only issue with that tool is that it will create a shadow around the patch and you have to remove the shadow on the photoshop layer. But since you mentioned png files, I wonder if you export your DST as an image in chroma will it have the same effect. You should try to export a DST file and see if it can work. I’m not by my computer atm

That's an incredible find, on your behalf. I can definitely see the industry POSSIBLY benefiting from the process. The reason why I say POSSIBLY, is because PRINTING has a lesser profit margin than EMBROIDERY. Which means that the vendor couldn't charge as much for the garment, if PRINTED. Which would result in diminished profit margins...no? Please let me know if I'm missing something....because I still think the concept is dope...just not sure it's profitable.

I think it’s definitely more profitable than just printing their regular logo. You can definitely chat the more for the embroidery look. Not as much as for the real thing but maybe close while it’s kinda new to alot of people. Even still it’s definitely a solution and alternative. The look would also have to demand a hire price because you have to actually digitize the design to get it. Everyone is not going to be able to offer that service unless they digitize or get the design digitized.

Not as much for embroidery but definitely an up charge for dtf printing. You still have to digitize it so you have to charge more for the print but not as much as stitches.

All you could really charge for is digitizing the file, which can be done by anyone with embroidery software or photoshop plugin. If someone comes to you with a design already digitized with embroidery, it's a normal print job/business as usual.

(More people were ordering vinyl, transfers & sublimation more than anything)The white under-base starting printing "faint" so, I still have to repair/replace as many as the "consumable parts" to see if I can get it up & running again.

You can use Chroma Luxe by Ricoma, Wilcom hatch digitizer, embrillance, brother pe design to name a few.

Yes you can. If it prints you can make it a transfer. I would but the person wa ting the transfer would have to pay the digitizing fee unless the come with the png file of the embroidery.
