Honestly, the biggest problem I have been facing recently is that I've been starting my projects by creating melodies. When I move on to the drums, I end up failing to choose the right ones, and most of the rhythms and drums don't sound good to me. If you were to check my unfinished projects, I would say 80% are unfinished because of the drums. Thanks so much for this tip, Mr. Alex Rome. I'll adjust accordingly.

just for the sake of learning. even when im unhappy with a project (witch is basically all the time) i make it a habit of finishing it if i have spent more then a day on it. even if the end result isnt good ( it usually isnt) i feel that getting to the end stages helps me learn things i would have normally missed if i just tossed it out all together. for better or worse im not a profectionist so its not a big deal when i fail and i just move on.

@AlexRome There's a very faint high note pad synth at 16:42 of the video that (from my understanding) is not explained throughout this tutorial. It starts when you replay the entire project. It may have high pass filter on it and its automated and as soon as the break occurs it goes away (from what I can tell). Can you please explain what and why you added that in terms of music production? I feel it's there to fill up space in a sense of what a drone synth would do. Thank you for your sharing of knowledge. I'm a fan!

First time i have to desagree a little with you... Here you do everything in order to the presets/samples that you chose within your template sound good, and it dose, the vibe is so so cool, so why change those ?? My point is, if you start every project like this, you would probably end up with similar vibe... because you build around these sounds (i hope you can understand what i mean aha, peace man)
