Very useful info. However, most of the times the user wants to set the limits to the max and min positions the motor can handle. You should create a video with these limits. You will see that after you put motor to min position and roll it up to max position, the next step (press my+down) won't work unless you press shortly down and only then my+down. It is a massive shame for somfy that they do not provide these procedures as videos on their website!

Thanks for the tip. I have not yet come across this, due to the practical limits when we do the filming (we use products that fit well within the frame, reach their positions quickly (so videos don;t become too long)). The same goes for many people for whom the windows are well within the max range of the motors, which for us has meant this has not yet been a support issue (which is often a trigger to get a video up). However, I can understand it's very frustrating to not find the right info if you would want to use the full range of motion. I'll put it on the list of videos-to-make. Thanks.

ok. good to know. as an additional info to what I've written above, also if you go to min position that the roller can perform, if you press my+up the roller won't go up unless you press shortly up before.

We have quite a few shutters. How can I make sure that the Somfy Smoove will only react to one and not all shutters?

+Diana Neubrand When you program a new motor, make sure only that one is connected to power. When it's an existing motor, you probably already have a remote. Use the remote to link the Smoove to the right shutter. If you have a multi channel remote, like the Telis 4, select the right channel first. If you need more detailed info on what to do, please send me about the remote you have, which shutters it controls and which remote you want to add. I can then send you the steps you need to take to get this done.
