Cheers Robot you make my day after watching your video on how to add a blue key to my Liberty 150 3V ie scooter. I've tried for days to program the blue with the brown to no avail, until you mention the keys should be separated . We'll you could have knocked me down with a fether, I've been trying to clone the blue with the brown, both together on a ring, no wonder the immobiliser was confused, I separated an wallar we cloned the blue, cheers once again Robot.😊

Can't thank you enough, Robot. I tried about eight times to get my new MP3 key programmed per the owner's manual, and it just wouldn't work. The damn handbook says to turn the key and wait 1-3 seconds. It SHOULD have said to turn the key until the immobilizer light goes out, more like 1-1.5 seconds. After watching you do it, I had it programmed in no time at all. You're the man!

Thanks Robot. Just remember folks, after programming blue keys, you have to re-insert the master key again to "confirm" it; otherwise, it will start the motor once, and not do it again. IOW, Master, then Blue, then master again.

Worked with 2020 Piaggio Liberty 150 VERY important to take key out right after the red light goes off. DON'T wait "1 to 3 seconds"

Robot..your videos are fantastic! My Vespa primavera came with the red key only. I got a blue key and had it cut to the red key. I brought them home and followed your video. When I put the red key in and flip out the tab, it will blink twice and then go solid red. When I put the red key in with the tab in, it just blinks once. I pull it out and insert the blue key, let it blink once, and then put the red key back in and let it blink once again and pull it out. When I put the blue key in, it still blinks three times.

I just got a et4 150 last night for free from my boss. don't know the year, but it powers on with jumper cables. going to get a battery today and spark plug. not enough juice to turn over a lot. It only has the brown key, can I ride it with that? no title, it was just a yard beater at work. and that's what it will be for at home.

I bought a 2006 GTS 250 at the USA auction, which has only two blue keys. Unfortunately the red key was not given to me, so there is no card with code. My blue keys can't start the engine. The code light flashes 3 times and then lights up constantly. Can I buy a red key (which is sold in ebay) and program the immobilizer of my scooter using it? If not, is it possible to get some kind of security code from the official manufacturer? Or will I have to buy a CDI module with the keys? I beg you to help, because I have long time dreamed of such a legendary scooter.

@3:30 - So to authorize a new Blue key, you need to also have your existing Blue key? Isn't the whole point of this procedure to be able to get a NEW Blue key authorized if you lose your Blue key?

@@earpbru1952I was confused why he put in the old blue key as well as the new blue one at 3:30, but now I understand... The process tells the scooter which keys are authorized - it’s not just to add a key - so if you don’t put in the old one too, it deletes it, as he showed later in the video.

The video ias good, but I have a worse problem, bought a 200Gt, 2004 model at auction, no keys, no way to contact previous owner for one. Gone to dealer to get new key and barrel, they don't have the specific program to program new keys to the Vespa. What next? Is there a scanner for this that one can buy to program the new keys?

Not mentioned in the video but swapping out the master key must be done after the first flash of the red led. On our Primavera the led never flashes with the brand new key. Fyi

I bought a 2007 LX50 and it only came with one black key. I don’t see any led turn or flash…can’t even see where there is an led on the dash. Machine starts and runs well. I want to cut a spare but I’m not certain if I can or if this machine even has the immobilized.

Best description! The manual tells you to wait 1-3 seconds. Thats too long. Like in the video you have to watch the light and then be fast!! Thats from Germany! A

If you have the red master key, then yes, you can program a new blue key. I know this is a year ago, but it helps anyone else with the same question.

Thx for this video I'd like to benefit from your expertise as I have an issue with my 2008 LX125 Vespa which does not start after being exposed to an heavy rain: the led is then flashing 2 times and then is staying on after a few seconds. @@ariankazemi8142 if it is the hpe model that you have, then it will not work, the 2022 on uses a semi rolling code and requires coding by the dealer. I only found this out as I tried everything to get it coded...🤔😀
