Can you do this with im508? Do we have to always learn keys for both adding a new key, or all keys lost, basically erase all keys for both scenarios?

yea that scanner can do many cars and I usually erase all keys if they lost them but should always ask the person first what they want to do.

The new keys you programmed, did they require chips?

yes most VW keys need a chip even old ones.

Nice video! I need your help. I was able to read the immo code on a 2002 passat with a maxipro mp808ts to program 2 new keys, but the log in won't take it. Thanks

Do u have an active subscription on your scanner otherwise it won't let u program the key

it generates the chip at the same time with this tool you can work on 90% of the cars out there really good machine. a bit expensive but worth the investment.

@@mediilbrahim2835 the im508 is good too but i think it focuses more on keys programming, there is a video online where u can compare the differences of the 2 scanners.

hy bro i need you help plz. other day i was just tiring to Add 1 extra key to a Jetta 19 while the car came with only 1 VVDI smart key it was programed to the vehicle in Dubai as i tried to add another K-D X2 to the same car but my IM508 was asking me to provide the CS code byte. That was an old day.

im508 wont be able to do it also i have had problems programming newer Volkswagens you need to use VVDI or VCDS probs will work on these new models

VCDS won't work. Vvdi2 or key tool plus are great for VAG vehicles up to present
