Hey coach! Thanks again for the great content! Would you do upperbody/core plyometrics and lowerbody plyometrics in a superset? Lets say A.1 Box jump A.2 Rotational Medball throws. Or is it more wise to keep them separate and do Box jumps first, rest 3min between each set and then move on to the Rotational throws?
@FlowHighPerformance12 жыл бұрын
You definitely could do them in a superset 👍

In this quarantine we are basically in off season so how do field athletes (soccer in my exemple) should train for endurance and for power? Thanks for the great content ❤️
@FlowHighPerformance14 жыл бұрын
Good question. You just have to train with what you've got. If you can access a field or open space you can do speed, plyometrics and endurance training. Vertical jumps (single leg and double leg) can be used with a small load like a weight vest for power development

Coach, If I do acceleration and plyometric work in the beginning of training is it ok to combine on that same training finishing soccer drills or small sided games?
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
yes, that would work well 👍

3 reps doesn't seem like a lot? Can you please explain why you've chosen 3 reps for some of the plyometrics exercises?
@LaPtiteAnglaise3 жыл бұрын
Can I chip in? Those are for weighted plyometrics. You’ll encounter fatigue which will change the nature of the exercise. You won’t be contracting explosively and it’ll stop being plyometric training. It’ll become some sort of power/endurance hybrid. (I’d suggest. Happy to be shot down.)

is one exercise per session enaugh?
@FlowHighPerformance13 жыл бұрын
Yes, I'd say 1-2 exercises per session with maximal intent is plenty 👍
