Apparently you guys work for ADT, Why not use *58-->"D" Key -->Template 2 and take it from there. And you didn't even do the 2 button panic.

I used to work security and I would say never program a panic button into your key fob! Just think how many times you set your car alarm off accidentally on your car remote. Each time the police would get called or worse yet if you had a silent alarm they would just show up and you would not know why!

they came a few times. last time they checked id and if I had any warrants.. I put a guitar pick and taped onto the fob to block any more accidents.

So I did this and the keyfob wouldn't connect. Pushed the buttons and the light was red, not green. I tried to get out of programming and the thing took me through a bunch or zones...I hope I didnt delete anything I needed, but I finally figured a way out of programming mode. System arms, stays and disarms still so hopefully it's okay. Damn shame that ADT wants $100 for same keyfob I got for $17. But it's useless if I can't program it!

Annnnnd now my keypad is locked out. (By the way if this happens to you, turn the power off to the unit and then disconnect the battery. Wait a bit and turn it back on. Worked for me)

My adt savewatch 3000 is stuck with a code 10 .. I tried to get out of programming mode with *99 but it does not do anything?can you help?

the adt one is different, totally confusing, instead of saying installer 20 , it just says 20, then never says field, goes blank and star seems to count up from 1 to ? had to unplug to get out of menu. gonna have my alarm guy talk me through it

Problem with registering remote at last step. I tired both master code+818#449 or 820 but remote does not register as user code 818. Is it possible to have other user code? Please help & thanks.
