Adding a remote to an ADT Safewatch Pro system

This video started with a simple quest to add a couple RF remotes (Honeywell 5834-4) to my ADT alarm system (Safewatch Pro 3000). As usual a 15 minute job turned into hours of research but in the end it all worked. I wanted to save the rest of you some time, so here is what I learned...

At the beginning of the video it appears that you indicate 632800 and moments later say 8321800. Which is it? Is there any sequence of numbers entered prior to the installer code so that the system understands what you are attempting?

Great video! How do I figure out what zones an existing, but broken remote, is already assigned to?!

I would cycle through the zones and find the one that is set to a remote matching the broken remote’s signature. Or just add the new remote to the next open zone and leave the old one registered.
