When putting Chanel’s into frequency is that like other channels ? Just got the rmu2043 for work and just trying to figure out how to connect in with other guys at the job site (they don’t run Motorola but they have a twist nob with 20 channels, so if I set to frequency 3 would that be they’re Chanel 3)? Lost lol please help

No, that is not something that you can change. Two way radios are typically either UHF or VHF although there are some that can do both.

don't tuch antenna it is only uhf vhf is ham radio and you have a family service / gmrs radio out of the box gmrs cant be used becouse you don't know how to use your f r s radio and dont were about the other side you have a two mile range or less I refer to frs as a child locater becouse of range ths radio will work at.

@@SuAmigoElilegal That appears to be a UHF Motorola CP200 radio. They are discontinued, but they are still good radios. UHF and VHF are just frequency bands that radios operate on. UHF is typically better for indoors or for indoor/outdoor while VHF is better for outdoors.

@@SuAmigoElilegal I'm not sure that there is an antenna that will improve the range. The radio is already a powerful hand held. The only other option would be to install a repeater system in a central area, but those are typically $3,000 or so.

Hi, I just responded on the other video as well, but try this: I would recommend resetting the radio to factory settings to see if that helps fix any issues - sometimes resetting it can help fix any bugs. To do so, press PTT, SB1, and SB2 simultaneously while turning the radio ON until you hear a high tone chirp.

@@italovinicius190 Hmm, I'm not sure. Resetting the radio and then trying to reprogram again might be worth a shot since it doesn't take that long. Or there's an off chance that the Scan feature could have been turned on while you were programming and that has caused issues. You can toggle that on/off while in Advanced Configuration Mode (Programming Mode) as well.
