Thank you much!!! I installed a keyless assure and only used it with my phone. Huge problem when it's on auto lock, master code is not set and phone is in the house. $300 later a locksmith drilled it out. I've now installed an assure 2 with key (just in case😊) it's installed but once again I couldn't set a master code. Thanks for you video and explanation. I've just set it and feel so accomplished!!!! You're the best!!!

Thank you! Also, because I was STILL having problems, I went on their website and finally somehow saw on the troubleshooting that the programming code CANNOT be used as an entry code! Why not make that obvious?! Man I agree with these comments, they have made it as difficult as possible!

Appreciate this video. The app does not make it clear where the heck you set / change your door code - you would think it would be a direct icon / shortcut, or duh, under lock settings - not buried in a personal user profile sub menu. Bad UX design from August (Yale) on that aspect.

Thank you. The app made no sense. The instruction did not address it at all. I am shocked there was not a way to program a code without going through the app. Also found out, you can reset the program code to anything you want, but it CANNOT be the same as your entry code. Banged my head against the wall a few times before I figured that out.

Do you have a wifi mesh network? I just bought mine today and can't seem to get it to connect to wifi. I called tech support and they couldn't figure it out and only said it might be due to my eero mesh network

I purchased the wifi module for the upgraded system... everything has to be setup all at once.. once u download the app and set up the lock u should set up the wifi then remove the module take one battery out kinda like to reset it. Install module then battery and go to the app to SET UP NEW DEVICE and you see SET UP MY MODULE follow the steps until it recognizes your device
