This was EXACTLY what an impatient gardener like myself needed to watch/hear...I had 2 crunchy leaves hanging on from a verigated pink 🍋 purchased from Home Depot...Moved from inside NYC area apartment to my fire escape in 90 degree heat...Now, I have some gorgeous leaves within 2 months from using a combo of organic granular fertilzer, epsom salt + fish emulsion 🥰❤

Hi Eder Yehudah, I truly appreciate and enjoy your content. What knowledge do you have about avocado trees which have developed yellow leaves? I’m hoping you are able to help me rectify this problem.
@elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg842510 ай бұрын
Nutrient deficiency, Avocado trees need a balance fertilizer both in nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Also do not forget calcium, magnesium and sulfur. The micronutrients is equally important . If you do not know what micronutrients are I would encourage you to research . I going to hold you to it okay to let your finger do the walking on that keyboard.

thank you so much for taking the time and sharing your knowledge, I'm in Hamilton On. zone 6-6a always having hard time to grow citrus even though I do bring them inside for the winter.. not many experts mention to acclimate the tree gradually the way you explained. I bought a Eureka lemon 3 months ago, the tree was loosing leafs already at the greenhouse, but was the only eureka lemon left..so took it home, it is in a 3 gallons Pot it has only 6 leafs left but not sign of new leafs or new growth but there are a few flowers that keep showing up. watering once a Week, came with green pellets fertilizer I was told that those as good for 6 months Please any suggestion. you can give me? Thanks in advance
@elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg84252 жыл бұрын
If your spiring has started take the tree outdoors. Place it in the shade completely. Allow the citrus tree to dry out a little. The Eureka Lemon is a very stubborn lemon and the dryer conditions forces it to leaf out. Also take some citrus fertilizer, add blood meal and 1/2 sulfur and mix it 3 inches into the soil. Water it in and that allow to dry between watering. In other words water every 2 weeks instead. Watch the miracle happen. But please sow a conscious seed first into your garden.
@LouReef692 жыл бұрын
@@elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg8425 thank you very much for the teaching you are giving us. I will move it to the shade right away and let it dry before watering , God blessing to you all

I’ve run into a bunch of people trying to grow in contatiners and misunderstand the whole concept of the amount of fertilizer that they need to put. Then when they find out how much they need to feed they freak out and ask why.🤦🏽♂️ All I can say to them is do research just like anything else. Gardening is a science. Trial and error. It takes time and a ton of patience.

How many times a year we foliar spray with calcium poron and when is the right time for that . Really appreciated

Purchase the product and please read the direction. Often folks will ask how to apply something they do not have in their possession. This can cause confusion. i like to empower people and direct them to read, research instead of just going off what the author states. I hope you understand okay. Thanks

I think my Meyer tree is about 2-3 yrs old in a 16inch pot. Is it too small? What is a good size for that age? I’m about to give some fertilizer next month. How long do I have to wait till I can change to a bigger pot and like u mentioned not too bigger pot because the soil will dry out faster.

I was searching your citrus videos and couldn’t find them. Glad you are back!! Please help my Meyer Lemon tree in ground. The leaves were all yellow and fell off last year. Finally it’s growing new leaves now but the baby leaves are pale and have yellow edges, just not looking healthy at all. No buds, no flowers. I’m in Southern California. Water twice a week, fertilize once a month. Thank you.

Thank you for this video. I had very few citrus flowers this spring. Your statement about too much nitrogen makes a lot of sense. It is amazing how much misinformation is on the internet. Many sources recommend a balanced fertilizer in early spring which has as much nitrogen as other elements. Unfortunately, balanced fertilizer gives me a beautiful, bushy, green tree with no fruit.
@elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg84254 жыл бұрын
Glad it was helpful! and correct. You are on the right track. Feed your trees only a higher nitrogen content in the beginning of Spring. After that point, when flower buds start to develop, you need to feed less nitrogen and more phosphorus/potassium. Cheers
