It’s a little difficult to get the correct pronunciation but I’ve always pronounced it was fer-oh-thorn… seeing as it comes from the word ferrous - fai-Riss…. If that makes sense…

Pokémon I consistently mispronounce plus some I think I say correctly but are different here. Raikou, Rattata (I stand on that), nincada. Illumise. Hippopotas. Conkeldurr. Ferroseed and ferrothorn. Zweilous. Furfrou. Volcanion. dewpider. Nihilego. Milcery. Dracozolt dracovish. Zacian. Arboliva. Wattrel kilowattrel. Espathra (like cleopatra), bombirdier Others I emphasize a different syllable or may use a long vowel instead of short.

I do have to wonder why you chose Ivona Brian as the fill-in voice. 1. Brian is a British English voice vs. Marc Thompson's American voice. 2. Every time I hear that voice, or even the actor behind Ivona Brian's voice, Charlie MOrrison, I always associate it with GoAnimate Warren Cook videos. I would have actually recommended using Ivona Eric, as though that voice too has GoAnimate associations, at least the man behind its voice, Michael Liscio JR, actually worked on Pokemon as the voice of Clemmont and several Kalos and Alola pokemon. PS Charlie MOrrison (voice of Ivona Brian) himself knows of GoAnimate and laughs everytime he thinks of it. He was cast in a few audio dramas in recent years with Philip Glassborow and in an interview he said he hoped that no GoAnimate fans were listening, because he played a character named Warren. (not Warren Cook, but just Warren).

Gens 7-9 -I hear Bri-OWN a lot when it comes to Brionne, but that actually sounds better to me for some reason -So weird hearing Dewpider like "Jupiter", I'll happily stick with the dew-PIE-der pronunciation lol -I just pronounce Mimikyu as Mimic Q -Kommo'o is always gonna be hard to say IMO -Naganadel too is odd to say right, I usually just say NAH-ga-NAY-dull -For me, I say bluh-SEF-uh-lawn for Blacephalon -Oh, I didn't use the "b" sound for Grapploct I just say Grap-locked -The amount of times I see Duraludon (and Archaludon) get mispronounced is scathingly high) -Zacian, I just say zah-SHIN -I like to say KWA-kwuh-vahl for Quaquaval, since the end is definitely meant to be like Carnivale and whatnot -For me with Garganacl, I think of Gargantuan so I pronounce it as gahr-GAA-nuk-ull -For Wattrel and Kilowattrel, I pronounce the -tr-'s in the name so it's kind of like WAH-trell for examples Most of the rest, exactly how I would pronounce it though ^^

So some thoughts on the pronunciations of Pokemon in the video GEN 1-3 - I remember so many people calling Rattata rat-a-TAA, but I do like the official one better, flows better - I rarely says Gastly with the "t" in in, comes out as Gassly xD -Still not used to Ledian with the -ahn...Leh-dee-in, was how I went about it >.

Cont. Gen 4-6 -I used to say "GAB-bite" since the I felt the idea was the first syllable was the stronger on all 3 in the Garchomp line -Also used to say dray-PEE-on for Drapion -Used to say oocks-ee, didn't think the "u" would be "yoo" for Uxie -Also said ay-zelph for Azelf -Nuff' said on the Arceus pronunciation lmao -I've seen so many say Lee-uh-pard, ooph -I've said sin-chee-no for Cinccino mostly because Chinchilla has an "h" that's not in Cinccino, so that's my logic for mispronouncing that one XD -I definitely don't like the way the emphasis leans in on the NEE on Reuniclus, as I put the emphasis on the YOO -Absolutely don't like how Ferroseed and Ferrothorn are pronounced for sure here...since it is based around Ferrofluid, that is definitely not how you pronounce it, so this is bad (also never hear anyone pronounce this way either). -Same with Mienfoo and Mienshao, since they're kind Chinese-based it's way better as mee-ehn-foo and mee-ehn-shau -Skiddo seems odd to me since it's a mix of skid+kiddo and since I went with that logic, I don't pronounce Skiddo as if it has the double-oo at the end of the name. -Same kind of with Pancham, since I kind of say Pan-Cham, just as it's spelled out pretty much and with Pangoro I just says pan-GO-roh -It's AY-jih-SLASH for me lol -It's CLAW-wit-zer for me, but I see why ya say it like that -Ah, I say die-AN-See for Diancie, but I've heard this pronunciation a lot too.

I will stand by this that rattata is pronounced RA-dih-TAH because that's how it's pronounced in the tv show! Rattata pronounces it's own name like that and so do the characters and the Ash's pokedex in the first episode. I don't know when it changed to RA-TAT-ta!

@ Interesting. The pokedex is going to be more accurate than Jessie though. The voice actress probably pronounces it that way. But the film production would be paying much closer attention to the Pokedex pronunciation being correct, especially in the first episode ever.
