please i'm a little confused, i know we pronounce the /t/ sound by the tip of the tongue and the /ʃ/ sound by the front of the tongue. - but in /tʃ/ sound are we pronounce the /t/ sound and /ʃ/ sound in the same place in the mouth and are you use front of tongue and you not need to move the tongue from /t/ sound and /ʃ/ sound. because combined the /t/ sound and /ʃ/ sound ???? thank you.
@Coopos
@Coopos 4 жыл бұрын
Hi. I'm sorry the video was confusing. I use the front of the tongue even when I start the /t/. So I do not move from tip to front. But you can start with the tip of your tongue for the /t/ instead. Then when you release your tongue, the tip will go down a little. Use whichever position is better for you.

is the teeth touched together for /tʃ/ chair and /dʒ/ job or not?

No, they are slightly apart when we speak. However, it's possible (but not done) to make the sounds with the teeth closed.

Here is my response for couldn't have, wouldn't have, and shouldn't have. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3zNqWmcZayFeMU I don't have a response right now for definitely, obviously, and possibly. Sorry. Please look at my /u/ boot and /ʊ/ book video for the vowel sound in 'new' and 'due.' kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIC1q3tmhdOZhqc Both of these words have the /u/ vowel sound. I pronounce the word 'news' several times at about time mark 2:58 and 'new' at about time mark 10:27. 'News' is almost the same as 'new' except it has a /z/ at the end. The word 'due' rhymes with 'do.'

Hi. The letter G has different pronunciations. One of them is exactly like the letter J. That is why you cannot distinguish them. They are the same. For example, G in gym sounds exactly like J in job. Maybe this video will help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/moq8Yniwnc-WkKM Good luck.
