Great! The thing that really helped me was pronouncing PATHS. When you natives are speaking naturally it seems that you don't say the TH sound, but just the S sound. But, now, it is clear! Cheers!

I'm from the UK and for some words I make the "Th" sound but for others, I substitute a "F" for the th sound. I just realised recently I've been pronouncing certain words wrong my entire life haha. These videos are helping me so much. I was saying "ba-f" instead of "bath". Thanks for taking the time to explain this! It's important for my job that I speak clearly.

So it's not just me, haha. English is my first language but I've been speaking it wrong my whole life as well! 😅 I often make the "f" sound in words when I should be the making "th" sound ("three" not "free," etc.). It's surprisingly difficult to unlearn!
@jamiemcphillips3353 ай бұрын
@@ishmael4489 definitely, it's a lot easier to fix as a kid than an adult. To be fair I think a lot of it comes down to accent.

Intact teeth are a prerequisite for saying this sound. In English the sounds take place of T and D, which are related. In Spanish Spanish, they don't make sense, because they take place of unrelated letters C and S. They have Andaluthia and Barthelona.

Great content. I have been practicing pronouncing th sounds with this video, great job teacher :) I wonder just one thing, in some other videos, teachers say when you produce th sounds, your front teeth shouldn't be touching your tongue, what do they mean by it? When we bite our tongue even 'gently' as you said, our teeth always will be touching it 😅
