For a Japanese person, these two words are such problematic! For us, R and L are same thing, and V and B are the same thing. Thanks for the video. I finally got it! Such a detailed lesson

I can tell trouble from travel by not recognizing the difference between those two sounds but by his expression. Travel is a funny thing, so he looks happy when he pronounces it while troulbe is an unpleasant thing, so he looks unhappy when he pronounces it.

Hi! Yes, it's definitely true that context and emotion can help us understand which word is being said in many situations. On the other hand, those things aren't as helpful when we are trying to say them ourselves. Therefore, knowing the sounds and being able to say them correctly are still important and necessary.
