I haven't been successful yet with taking Phlox cuttings, I will try again this year. I've grown cuttings for Hebe, Hydrangea, Buddleia, Spirea & Lavender. It is very rewarding when they survive and flourish for many years. Most of these are now on my channel header and I made a new Hebe video which shows these cuttings on their journey into big shrubs.

Phlox are a hard one to root for me. The rest are pretty easy. We have done some phlox but at not a very good rate compared to other plants. Thank you for watching

Agree with the other comment - how are those cuttings doing?

Did you do an update video? I looked under your channel and couldn’t find.

We shot an update for these but before it got uploaded we had issues with the video. We plan on doing another set this year.

I am going to try this! I don't see any water being added. Is this best done in bone dry soil?

It's best to keep them moist like the video say's. Bone dry soil will result in dead plants.

What medium do you tall phlox cuttings in and where do you put them? Greenhouse or north side in shade?

I use potting soil or seed starting mix when in dirt. But I also use hydroponic to do some cuttings. Cuttings I always keep out of direct sunlight until rooted well.

Any videos without the real proof of the roots is just a waste of time. Maybe the guy is right but the Internet is full of fake, so unless is wit the proof, is useless Sorry about it
