One of the best descriptive videos I’ve seen and I’ve been winterizing systems in the Northeast for over 30 years. Nice job!

Just watched 5 or more videos on it, this one is definitely the best. Thanks!

Can you manually run one station at a time from the control box in garage instead of using the valves in the irrigation box?

Yep. I’d call that running it electronically instead of manually. It’s virtually the same.

I've been thinking of starting a business about blowing out sprinklers in co. Is there any good compressors I should be looking at?
@scottyaustin303Ай бұрын
The key to fast blowouts is volume and flow. Flow for compressors is measured in SCFM (standard cubic feet per minute). I’d go with a 40-60gallon min and a min of 9 SCFM. It’s going to be a heavy rig and only fit in a truck.

Dude is using a 6 cfm compressor?

Yep sometimes you can’t haul around your 10scfm compressor

That’s suks my hometown in Colorado we all have automatic drains in our systems so we don’t have to do nothing but turn off the water and we are done we don’t have to blow it out or nothing every house is done like that even the city recommends that we do it with automatic drains I would hate to blow out my system of 24 Zones
@scottyaustin303 Жыл бұрын
I’ve lived in Colorado my entire life and every house I’ve worked on has never had an automatic drain system. They are not common here. If the pipes are deep enough, then you can get away with not blowing out but you will eventually have a crack somewhere in your system. I had about 19 zones on my last house, and it didn’t take me too long to blow it out maybe 30 minutes.

no air valves/water valves on mine to clear out the pipe in house...any ideas? thx kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2LOqmmFarpjeNE

Best and only thing you could probably do without putting in a port to blow out with is to open up all your valves and any drains you have on your system
