Leila, Here's an additional tip to make your reports look even better: when you're in the print preview mode and setting up your margins, make sure to check the 'center vertically' and 'center horizontally' options. This will help ensure that your report is perfectly centered and looks polished and professional.

For this Alt-V-N, Alt-V-P, and Alt-F-U were rather universally used by high performance users prior to the Microsoft De-productivity Act of 2007. They still exist and are invaluable when you don't want to needlessly burn productive time hunting things down in the psychedelic ribbon categorizations. (FYI you formerly would find EVERY shortcut by simply arrowing through menus - utterly priceless when you remembered only the start of a shortcut, e.g. alt-D or alt-D-F. Now you have to memorize entire shortcut sequences, or memorize where items are hidden in ribbons.)

I think the easiest way is tapping F12 key and then setting the file type as PDF and save. Also you can do this with F12>TAB>P>Enter. In seconds. All done.

Another great video!! I have a suggestion for a future video and that is about working with shapes in Excel. I have created a couple of documents that contain a lot of shapes. I find it rather frustrating trying to use the tools in Excel to group, size, align them, snap them into a cell so they look good, and many other things. It never seems to do what I want it to do when trying to align vertically, copying groups of shapes and then trying to align them, search for text in shapes by hitting control F....... I realize there are better programs to do what I am doing (Visio....) but I want to do it in Excel. I cannot be the only one having problems with shapes and I would love for you to do a video to help me get better. Love your channel.

Great info! But does this solve the problem of Excel distorting shapes when you print them? I tried making round labels by using a barcode scanner to enter barcodes that were linked to semicircular Wordart. It was very frustrating. Going to View>Page Layout helps, but it isn't perfect.

I usually use publish option to print, because it allows me to do it in one click without any questions asked. However, I wonder whether there is any pros/cons between these 3 type of pdf making methods in terms of the resultant pdf file. I mean size of the file, quality of the tables and pictures, converting them back to excel files.

This is great info! My experience has been, though, that Excel's built in pdf print/save/export doesn't consistently respect the manual page breaks I've inserted, which is sometimes (but not even always) solved by using an external excel to pdf tool. Any tips/reasons why that may be happening?

Is it better to use those functions for multiple criteria or just using SUMIFS? I don't know if that will impact performance for the 2 years of data

After you selected the print area, you can select to print only page 1 because page 2 has no info at all as far as I can see (3.24). So you dont have to scale anything anymore.

Great tut! I was trying to print to PDF with a full bleed and no matter what setting and margins set there is always a strip of white at the bottom and right side... Help! haha
