ive been a vet assistant for over 6 years. its actually totally fine to spay and neuter pets at 6 months old. generally, they say if its a very large breed dog, it may be better to wait til closer to a year, but minnie is small so anytime :) our clinic actually tries to spay females prior to their first heat cycle, because every time they go through heat, it can increase their chances for cancers and infections (like pyometra). i wouldn't recommend spaying her while she is in heat, as it can add more risk. if she already started her heat cycle, best to wait until after :) also, i never recommend doggie diapers, as they can also help to breed infection because nothing is able to "air out." just keep her indoors as much as possible and away from any intact males! hope this helps!

I really think Freya would benefit from the 4 year old Pre K program at school. It gets them prepared for Kindergarten and they get to socialize with children their own age. The children get so excited to go to school that it's like playtime for them. I think she would love it! Just my opinion, I raised 4 children, and they all went to Pre K and loved it! Anywho, enough of that. Oh, also, a female gets spayed, and a male gets neutered. Lol, I chuckled a little bit on that note. Great video! You definitely have motivated me on some of my deep cleaning I've been putting off! Love you guys!❤

Hi, Cambria! I love that you speak honestly about stinky boys. Some is just plain Ole natural and some (I honestly don't think yours are) are just plain unclean and funky. I have been a house cleaner for 25 years and there is nothing worse than smelling a kids room from down the hall! Since you have many followers, could you express the importance of clean bedding. And pillows!! They are relatively inexpensive and can be washed and diposed of... at least once a year. This absolutely helps with acne and smells! Pillows and mattresses harbor bacteria and you would be surprised how many people don't clean or replace them. I've had several people through the years that think it's so cool to have the same pillow since their childhood or their kids have the same mattresses that they slept on. And even sheets!!! I'm sorry, but that is disgusting... bacteria, saliva, cold germs, and gosh knows what else!!! Could you share this information in your "Cambria" way??? Thank you!!!

@Gramsofboys Acne comes from bacteria and oils, which can be harbored on unwashed, unclean surfaces over time. Much less a smell.... no different than a dish towel being used over and over.

Sheets can be reused forever considering they like clothes can go in washing machine with scalding hot water and if white can be bleached. I agree about the pillows and mattresses not yearly but after time

What I’ve started doing when shampooing my carpet is I got a little pump sprayer (like the kind you’d use for weed spraying) and I put my carpet cleaner in that and spray the carpet down first, then come back with the carpet shampooer with only hot water, that way it gets to soak in with the solution first and then you go back in to scrub and rinse in one go and it works really well!

Hi Cambria!!! My daughter will be off to middle school this year too and I was told that all the kids information gets transferred automatically to the middle school they’ll be attending so no need to do anything but wait til meet the teacher day! Have an awesome day!

I have only had female canines and my vet recommended to wait three months after their first cycle to neuter. This allows the body to produce the hormones needed to keep them healthy. Thanks for the motivation to clean, got to do it tomorrow and need to remember to clean under the sofa cushions. 😊

I clean my walls monthly as well as the lights and switches - everything from top to bottom but I hate the smell of pine sol so I use diluted Sal suds. It makes a huge difference! I have a husband a 25 year old son, 3 cats (17, 11 & 5) & a tortoise so my house is easy. Cat hair is my biggest problem. Keep up the good work you are amazing😊

I usually run over the rug or carpet once with the cleaner solution in the carpet cleaner (it doesn't suck everything since i just go over once, not back and forth). I then let it sit for 30 min. Then I fill the tank with just water and go over the rug normally and suck out as much as I can. I do this twice to get all the cleaner solution out (you can usually tell cause it bubbles differently when it's being sucked out).

Hey!! Had to pause… I have never been more on the same page with you than when you said schools need a pamphlet to let parents know what to do. 🤣 I was able to get on the county website and get a supply list. We’re in Georgia and start back August 5th and open house is the 1st. 😭 You think you have no idea what’s going on, me either, I had my son at 36 (he is now 6 1/2) I’ve been out of school for 50 million 11 years. I’m so thankful that I’m still in contact with most of my old teachers and they let me contact them with all the questions (still live in same county), but we are switching to a public school this year after a bad charter school experience. 😳 Always something! Good luck this new school year!! 🎉

Hi Cambriea, it's fine to spay a smaller dog from the age of 6 months. It's usually the larger breeds that are recommended to be spayed after 12 months as they may not complete their first cycle before then.

Hi Cambria, I just wanted to let you know that years ago I had a carpet cleaning company come to my house to clean my carpet. They guy cleaning my carpet told me that people make the mistake of cleaning their carpets with hot water. He told me to always use cold water because hot water sets stains. That made sense to me. I know to never wash clothing in hot or warm water if I am trying to remove a stain. The stain will set in the clothing.

My Grandaughter left junior school today she’s 12 in sept ,omg I was in tears they all came out togeather and everybody was in a line there shirts had been signed by her friends I couldn’t stop crying it was so nice,she got accepted for her chosen school in sept she’s will be there till 16 then to college higher education xx

I fill my carpet cleaner up but a dont turn it on the first time over a just hold in the water tank release button go over it so the water and soap gets spread over the carpet then i turn my carpet cleaner on and go over it

Regarding Middle School, I would think you should have already had him choose his classes for next year. I was an elementary school secretary and our outgoing 6th graders chose their classes, with help from the Counselors, at the end if their 6th grade year.

Hi Cambriea, is it the cream cleanser??? I haven't taken my couch apart to clean for a few months, and it's overdue. I can't seem to get anything done, always interrupted. 😬. I've had a lot on my plate and extra stuff it's life stuff. I know we all have it, but I'm suffering in to-do lists. I have boxes of clutter to declutter, I have totes of papers. I need to finally go through and set up a filing system for. Decluttering is hard for me since I don't know where things should go or that area is too full so it's like in o order to do this I have to do that and I'm just going in circles and I just stop and it doesn't get done. I'm also an over thinker terribly 🤔. I honestly thought with the boys out of school I would get a lot done, but no, I haven't, and now school will be starting next month. Where has the time gone😮? I've noticed our schools here are absolutely terrible with communication. We missed out on the IB program for our oldest because nobody explained it to us, even though we were brand new to the state. And then the transition from elementary to middle was just a guess based on what we had experienced back home in Nebraska even though here they go in 6th grade, not 7th. I'm so stressed over school supplies. I usually buy off the list the district puts out but the first year here was a waste of money because they didn't use half the stuff so last year I waited until each teacher gave a specific list and then all the affordable items were sold out. It's such a lose, lose situation. 😅

Yep! Totally agree with the teenage boy “funk” In the UK, the local education authority contacts you about a year before your child needs to move schools and asks you to apply for the schools you’d prefer your kids to go to - thereafter it’s all basically spoonfed, unless you’re moving cross country, then you have to do your own research and apply ... or you put your children into privately funded education. Isn’t there info online for you guys about your processes moving forward (perhaps the school website)? - I ask as there’s loads available in the UK. I have white loose covers on my sofas and try to wash them at least twice a year (occasionally they have to be done more often😊), and I try to remember to vacuum under the cushions when I do the weekly clean😮. Not cleaning my dishwasher atm as it broke😢 - being replaced this week (been washing up by hand for a month) Your Folex treatment, next time, can you decant it into one of those pressure spray bottles (ones gardeners use for spraying plants etc) and apply it with that? - much kinder on the arm tendons! Thanks for the motivation - carpets down to be done next week 😅

Sorry my hands shake really bad. Clean and Dry Strokes; Squeeze trigger for a forward and back WET stroke. Release trigger for a forward and back DRY stroke. THEN Rinse and Dry Strokes; Turn dial to Rinse Mode and repeat above steps. This is the best carpet cleaner I have ever owned. I have the same carpet cleaner but after every time I use it I need to change the belt. Do you have that problem with yours? I have 3 kids and cats that make a mess and I need to clean my carpets regularly and I just added a German Shepherd puppy so…I imagine it’s only going to get worse. 😂

You are not wrong. As a mom of 3 special needs teens boys who share a bedroom, their bedroom stinks the worst in the house no matter that the bedding gets washed every weekend unless it needs to be done sooner. We have 2 cats now as of 2 weeks ago, previously just 1, but neither really go in either of the kids bedrooms, we have 4 teenagers ages 14, 14, 16 and 19 turning 20, one of the 14 year olds is my daughter and she has her own little bedroom. The 2 older boys also shower every morning, the younger kids shower 3 times a week.

This hard part is going to be the drop off times and getting that down to getting both to school on time to two different schools. And in the future to 3 different schools. I been there and done that. It gets crazy. Sometimes the school websites have the school supplies list, so you can get on top of that. For us we really dont know what supplies they need till they actually go to their classes and the teacher tells them for the jr and high schools. I just buy note books, pencils, pens, and backpacks.

Cambreia? After being in animal rescue for over twenty years I spay and neuter all my dogs and cats almost immediately, (delayed one spay because she was so traumatized when we adopted her). I’ve recently read that females should be allowed two heat cycles. Not sure of the validity of the research on that…I’d definitely get her fixed quickly. I’ve rescued too many dogs suffering pyrometerias to delay longer than that! Lucky girl found an amazing forever home!
