Laying parts out on a towel is akin toa gun cleaning pad. Good idea. Taking a picture helps also!

You got to clean and old them reels up I do the same to mine every year on my 5500 and some of my other ones I take out all the clutches and clean each one and oil them trash always finds it's way in there But I've had them for years and there still like new Thanks for sharing man

I've worked on a lot of small gear projects in my life and I never once thought to put a white towel down so s*** doesn't bounce off 🤦♂️.

Advanced … Hmm 🤔 You really need to get the old grease off before adding new. Especially mixing Shimano grease with your Penn 😧 I’m just going to leave it at that . But this isn’t a Advanced video on properly greasing baitcasters.
