It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book kzbin.infoUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.

One thing that will help you cut Roxul (rockwool) better than a razor knife is a new bread knife believe it or not! They make the cleanest cuts you can get on that type of insulation. You can get a cheat one for around $5 or less from dollar stores etc.

Do some quick KZbin research on the spray foam and how many folks have a hard time breathing even months after it's been sprayed. This material here is hands down the best insulation. no matter what you use you need dead air space and a vapor barrier
@paulnagy15464 жыл бұрын
what's that mean ??
@sammcrae88923 жыл бұрын
What I'm trying to find out, is; exactly what order to put the various layers. For example from the outside sheathing do you put a vapor barrier in between the outside sheathing and the studs then insulate then put a vapor barrier such as plastic or such on the inside and then drywall or what? I need to insulate a shed wall that already has exterior sheathing on it, and I need to be able to finish it out so that it can be heated and air conditioned and will not build up moisture inside the wall and rot. Unfortunately this information seems to be very difficult to find. The best thing that I found so far is to go old school, and just go with dead airspace in between the exterior and the interior wall so that it can breathe and the heck with the insulation! Don't really want to go that route, but I can't seem to find out what to do everything nowadays uses tyvek and all this other stuff to completely seal the wall. If I was building from scratch I would put up the studs put on tar paper on the outside then insulate, and then sheetrock the interior, but I can't even find out if that will work.

@outdoorcrafter45785 жыл бұрын
rico dunworth well it’s simple depends if you’re just putting in enough room just for a bed . You would just have to put up a small ladder to get to the bed area . Not recommended for small children.......if you want more, like area to play that’s different, of course always cost more if you are creative you will figure something out and cost effective. But be safe
