Thanks it worked ,and for people who couldnt find create user, please search for user in windows search bar and create user from there, select i dont have credentials for the person and then it will redirect you to create local user.

There are LOT's of guides that do NOT work. - This one is perfect to the point that..... If you are competent or have some half decent level of competency with Bill's OS's, Have it running & type live on the PC you're setting up! - Hats are off Sir & than you! :o)

Very clear step-by-step tutorial. but is it possible to bind and access this ftp through pc name or something, because I am using this on laptop and everytime I change wifi network, it changes ip address and I cannot access my FTP. I have to change IP in FTP settings everytime.

I don't seem to have the 'Local Users & Groups' in my computer management section, is there a way to get that to appear?

Create a new user in the Settings instead. Under "Accounts - Family & Other Users" and then Add Account. You can also just search "user" in the windows search bar. You'll be prompted to add an e-mail, but just click "i dont have this info" and create without.

Hi I could set up FTP server and access it via LAN... but not from WAN... my Router is a bit different ... Winblows 11 isn't letting me enable the FTP service/FTP extensibility features for some idiotic reason so it ends with an error and asking me to reboot to undo changes. I guess it's FileZilla for me then, which sucks, because the last time I tried to use it the speeds and connectivity were abysmal.
