an in depth video like this was definitely needed!! awesome! as for the swoosh: i like to put my hand/finger inside the shoe and actually lift up the swoosh a little, getting under the swoosh to guarantee no spills!

I've found some specialty tapes at the big box home repo store, like the metal duct tape that comes with a backing paper, is super thin, very strong adhesive but peels off without leaving residue, and conforms to any curve. And in electrical is a super thin rubber tape, good adhesive and super flexible. This is not regular vinyl electrical tape.

Man I’m doing my first shoe restoration and tapeis absolutely vital. A cheap tape will allow paint to bleed through, leave residue and tear paint, so investing in good tape is worth it.

Very helpful! I found another EXCELLENT tape that I personally use for the sock lining with is the nexcare waterproof medical tape( light brown in color)! I’ve been using for some months and it leaves no residue and sticks for days, you should give it a try!

By the way, any advice for me I'm new to customizing and it seems like I have a hard time getting a perfect line with the green tape between upper and midsole. Yeah my best tip is really just making sure that you go back and apply a lot of pressure on the tape with your fingernail to really get it pressed down hard

I've got an issue, when I tape an area of the shoe which i already painted, a lot of the paint just takes off when I take off the tape but i thought that i waited enough Time for the paint to dry.
