I have lightning arrestor installed at home. Any issues installing bldc fan if lightning arrestor is there at home. At home Normal fans working as usual without issues except for high electricity consumption.

You can use no issues,but the main problem for bldc fan connection is we disconnect the line supply only neutral is alive but in fault condition like any surge condition neutral voltage unbalance cause the power supply failures,so if you can use two pole isolation for bldg is better option but alteration is not simple as all switches are now conseled ..but you can use bldc fan as many places uses the same even though within a span of two or three years we can return the amount ma ,so go ahead .

Yes no assurance for the same friend, since power variation sudden surges etc will damage bldc fan.. Since no bldc fan overcome these sinario.. During thunder please use your electrical appliances in inverter that would be better..

Wire gauge can't come down instead, it will increase only because for an AC 48" ceiling fan, the current flowing through the wire is less than 400 ma whereas, in case of BLDC fan, the current flowing through the line is around 2.5 amp and 1.2 amp respectively for 12 Volt and 24 volt systems.
