In my opinion, too many children have unsupervised access to social media and the internet. A lot of parents overshare information about their children's school, names, addresses, etc. My mama didn't allow me to sleep over friends" houses and I'm grateful for that, mow. I think I was "safer" growing up without all the access to the internet and social media.

In other words, the curse senders are the demons, not the curse recievers...🤔💭 but there is a sin that leads to life...1 John 5:17.....Do you really have kids? I assume you do. What is life, and what is death really...? Could it be Bruce Lee was right about the art of dying and Chuck Norris was helping build his grave....? Or maybe Chuck Norris is dead and bruce lee is alive behind all this..? 😂. I think real predator behavior starts where people target people ( on the phone, internet, or in person, of the opposite sex or same sex who are far too young to know better or have serious disadvantages not generally from their racial heritage or background repeatedly giving them unrealistic expectations about what to expect from a typical relationship between a man and a woman of their own race. Bullies aren't born bullies, harsh environments, and constantly being taken advantage of creates mean people and hardened hearts...What does it profit a man to not warn another man or person of his shortcomings or where he has failed... or not grant peace and life to his laborers. These are the questions that really need to be asked and addressed properly for the future.

You're absolutely right. I've been called a helicopter mom, but I can't help but think of these sorts of situations I want to protect my child from. I think it's important too to tell our children that it's okay to be rude if someone is wanting them to do something they feel uncomfortable with, because sometimes they can feel pressured into not wanting to hurt the other person's feelings, and then end up getting hurt themselves.

Thanks again, LLC, for another timely video. I recently found out my 8 year old Granddaughter was chatting with someone she didn't know in some chat room somewhere. Her mum got the phone off her, and the other party got quite abusive. Cops were called. Nothing they could do, of course. My point being, electronic devices were used in that house as a child minding device. They had kiddies, locks, and all on the kids devices. The device used was the mother's phone. The 8 yo had cracked her password. Kids these days are more tech savvy than their parents. Gone are the days my ex and I would put on Wiggles or Thomas the Tank Engine tapes to keep the kids entertained. Cheers 🍻

I would add to never allow two children to be unsupervised, ... duh,, I know ... But a child previously abused can be very capable and willing to abuse another child in a very short amount of time when given an opportunity. Then the victimized child has been primed to be victimized by everyone that can spot the flashing red "signs" of victimhood from then on. I know this to be true. Incidentally that abuser child grew up and married my friend whom he abused and beat on the regular. All this time an outstanding member of the church where he abused me when I was 4. I don't know what became of her and their children.

Thanks for the video. My problem with those vigilante channels is that some of them have gone over the line and attacked innocent people. I forget all of the details, but I saw a video recently where they went after the wrong guy. In the long run, they had to admit that they attacked a man who wasn't pursuing a child. However, they expressed no remorse for trying to ruin the life of an innocent man. To them, destroying an innocent person occasionally is justified collateral damage. That level of ignorance and self-righteousness makes them just as evil as the people that they are pursuing. When we talk about people wrongly approaching children, one of the biggest threats is in our schools. The education establishment now wants to give various perverts access to children under the excuse of diversity. Parents who have complained at school board meetings have been persecuted by federal law enforcement. In some ways, I could see where this attitude on the part of the government emboldens some of these predators. I don't have any children in my life. I go months at a time without talking to anyone under about twenty-one years of age. I don't have any sense of whether the average kid feels vulnerable. I could see where maybe kids don't feel vulnerable themselves but are aware of others who become vulnerable because they are seeking something in their lives. Those vulnerable kids end up talking to the wrong people online or even in real life and end up in bad situations because they are already in a place that makes them open to any kind of bad influence. Arming those vulnerable kids against that kind of influence might depend more on fixing the relationships in their lives so that they aren't looking for interaction beyond a circle of decent people in their lives. If we could strengthen those vulnerable kids, the predators would have a harder time finding victims. I don't understand why people become predators. I don't agree with all of the philosophical underpinnings of the Incel/MGTOW movement, but I understand the attitude of saying, "To Hell with it. I'm walking away from everything." How someone decides to seek victims instead of just walking away from society makes no sense. That the problem seems to be more common today than in the past is another important question. Maybe the problem really isn't more common today. I know that many church people believe that our society is being overwhelmed with demonic influence that can drive people towards these attitudes and behaviors. I'm slower to ascribe things to demons although I accept the idea in principle. My problem is with people just calling everything a demon instead of looking at other causes and issues. If we put aside the spiritual warfare or demonic explanation but still believe that the problem is worse, then we have to look for psychological causes for why more people today become predators. Everyone likes to take a problem like this and ascribe the whole problem to whatever a particular person doesn't like. If someone doesn't like fluoride in the water, then the whole problem is ascribed to fluoride in the water. If someone doesn't like tattoos, then the whole problem is ascribed to tattoos. If someone doesn't like social media, then the whole problem is ascribed to social media. If someone doesn't like marigolds, that person might ascribe the whole problem to the neighbor planting marigolds. These people are just trying to use a horrible situation to push their pet peeves on society. I have no respect for these people.

Kids are taught to believe and trust the authority figures in places, especially, like the church ( Sunday school etc.) this can be very confusing to a child if weaponized against them. Spend time talking with your kids about what "authority" persons are and are not. DO NOT leave them to figure it out, they haven't the capacity to do so.

Too much immaturity, incompetence, ignorance, and complicity surrounds this topic. I am a parent. I think there is nothing more terrifying, to a parent, than something bad happening to a child. But, that fear leads to an unwillingness to discuss this issue. It, also, leads to an overzealousness, and desire to use extreme violence, rather than cold intelligence, when it comes to dealing with predators. Innocent people have been wrongly accused, jailed, beaten, and killed, because of overly-emotional reactions. Without logic, and mature intelligence, no solution will be found.

@411Outdoors It's not an easy topic, for sure. As much as people love talking about woodchippers, and such Medieval actions, I can't help but think of the instances of 18 year old boys, with 16 or 17 year old girlfriends, who have to be on The Registration, for life. That makes no sense. And, false accusations, from spiteful girls. Or girls who get pregnant, but don't want to get their boyfriends in trouble, so they name some other guy. Man, it's a hard topic to deal with, sensibly. Very emotional.
