I did a variation of this and it worked. I had a lukewarm shower, which I will continue to do as long as I’m riding my silkpress out. I used a scarf, a bonnet, another scarf, 2 clear shower caps, and then my main thicker shower cap. Thanks for sharing this! I wish I knew this a long time ago bc my edges would always get wet somehow someway smh…you are godsent!

My problem is my scalp sweated out badly with the plastic cap. My roots were so puffy. I’m thinking I need to wrap it with a cloth bandanna to block the steam. I need help 😩

Basically you just have to make sure that you are layering your scarves and bonnets or whatever you are using to protect your hair in the shower and you have to make sure that you are tying them tight as well so that the steam does not get through but this also starts with wrapping your hair really really good before you put any of the scarves or bonnets or shower caps on

I don’t think so i don’t like cold showers my showers be hot it’s all about how tight you security lane if you do that properly you should be fine Because I never have any problems
