I'm sure there's other ways of doing this but this works great for me.

I used the foam packaging cut to size that came with the tug and glued it in with shoe goo works great

That's a great idea too. I didn't feel like going in the attic to get the box lol..

Get a large spool of very 'sturdy' sewing thread and a piece of brass rod or prop shaft and attach securely someplace in the hull so that the spool can spin freely; attach the exposed end of the thread to the cabin securely (use moisture/waterproof adhesive). Why? So that if the tug sinks the cabin will float, the spool will unwind with the thread attached to the floating cabin and mark where the tug is. Think of it as a marker buoy. 👍

That's a great idea! Why not protect the whole investment. Thanks for the tip. I might try that.. Thanks again.

Nice idea, I used magnets on my foam and upper deck so I can remove it quickly to install my Insta 360go2 I also have many other upgrades planned. As far as the universal joint stripping out, it can be prevented by ensuring the Grub screws get lock tight applied and checked each time before operation for tightness ( they will otherwise work lose after a few runs). As a practice with other types of RC vehicles I have learned to closely inspect RC's because it will save me money and down time in repair's. Enjoy your day.

Magnets is a great idea. I've removed the foams with no issues as well. My GoPro 10 doesn't mount good on the inside of the cabin. Yeah and it's also a good idea to inspect everything like you said.

Thinking how weak the universal joint is on this boat. Mine stripped out the first time the prop wrapped a weed. Struggled to get the boat back to shore and it was only 10 ft This is a great rescue boat with a major flaw.

That sucks and will keep this in mind. Thanks

Safety Joe! Haha good idea on the foam. Gotta protect your investments. Those floats on the go pro look like they belong on the boat honestly . Keep up the good work!
