How to pull a BMW Z3 engine!

Tinky Winky, our everyone-can-drift Z3 came to us with a blown head gasket, we've finally gotten around to pulling the engine in preparation for it's new life!
This is a how-to in the Tinky Winky series, but don't worry, we'll be doing an update on it soon!
Most of the process is incredibly similar, if not the same to a 6 cylinder model, if you have any questions, feel free to comment below and we'll answer as soon as possible! Or check out this video on an e36 for a reference!

Well then perhaps they are even! You can get the trans out of one of these on a lift in about 30 minutes.

How long should a professional shop take to pull the 4 cylinder engine and trans? They usually deal with domestic stuff. Thanks.

Did you make a follow up video after the install of the new engine??? I was just told I’ll probably need a new engine for my 97 Z3 (2.8, manual transmission). I don’t have the $8500 they quoted for it (besides, I only paid a fraction of that for it).
