I stumbled upon this video last week and I keep rewatching it. I struggle pulling up on the left but not the right. This morning, I was going around practicing my pull up on the left repeatedly with my instructor for an hour. I find it hard and I had to adjust my reference point because I’m small but on the second hour on the drive, I was so happy that I started pulling up on the left consistently especially on busy streets. Finding the reference point is important as I notice that it helps when I need to drive slightly more on the left for oncoming cars without hitting the pavement. This video is helpful. Thank you!

Great clip. I needed this haha. Thank you! I've always drove along side the kerb check my left mirror to see how far away from the kerb I am and reverse back while turning my steering wheel down to the left to get in close 😄 x

Once you've parked well, (maybe with the help of your instructor or passenger) check where the kerb disappears into the car and that is the reference point for parking. For a lot of people, the kerb disappears just to the right of the centre of the dashboard.
