From what I've seen, the best way to take off a binder safely without damaging you or the binder is overhead crossing method you might use to take off a t-shirt. Your left hand grips the right back handle and your right hand on the left back handle and you lean forward as far as you can and pull, and it doesn't damage the binder or yourself and is said to be much easier to do.

adding onto the don’t use KT tape point: PLEASE DONT OPEN CHEST BIND WITH ANY TAPE (aside from transtape maybe but I don’t have access to that) IVE TRIED EVERYTHING. KT, MEDICAL, DUCT TAPE, ETC. REACTIONS TO THE FRICTION AND PRESSURE THESE PUT ON YOU ARE SUPER COMMON. BLISTERS AND TORN SKIN FROM TAPE BEING TOO TIGHT/STRETCHED TOO FAR IS NOT WORTH IT. Remember: NEVER DOUBLE BIND!! No matter how much you want a flat chest. His chest is flat enough to where it isn't that dangerous, but please never double bind. Also this helped me a lot!! My friend has a spare binder they said I could have and they might give it to me tmrrw!! It'll be in the locker room and they'll be there to help me in case I get stuck lol.

it's fine I put my first new binder on in a Tesco toilets miles away from anyone I knew all you have to do is stay calm and bend down so your head is near the floor or up to your knees grab each shoulder with your opposite hands eg left hand on right shoulder right hand on left shoulder then carefully pull the binder over your head

I'm struggling with my binder size. I've ordered binders from several companies before and I'm always between 2 sizes, so I always go for the higher size but it's still way too tight. I've also ordered a binder that was another size higher than what I had ordered there before (it was already the higher size) but it was still too tight. Idk if it's because I have pretty wide shoulders and since I'm on hormon blockers my chest is more flat than it'd be if I wasn't. So it could be bc my proportions are weird. That's usually why I'm between 2 sizes. According to my shoulders I'd need the higher size and according to my chest I'd need the lower size. I don't know what to do can someone help me?
