So dope, they need to make this a monthly series WITH THIS GUY! Have him go all over the Black world to see block parties, Atlanta, Jamaica, Philly, DC, etc. No more shows with so-called white anthropologist explaining black culture, so lame and outdated. This was a real vibe!!!

Yes. I was just going to make the same comment. We already have a similar culture. Thanks to the African Caribbeans. I have to say that the carnival nowadays is too commercial, there are too many corporations involved who see it as a money making thing. It has spoilt the authenticity.

I'm older than this guy and used to go to one of the biggest street parties in Europe called the Noting Hill Carnival in London then Carnivals spread to other parts of England where there was a sizeable African Caribbean community. No disrespect but I've never had Albanian or Japanese neighbours. The carnival idea was directly from my African Caribbean ancestors also the sound system culture did not grow out of living alongside people from other backgrounds though today they seem enjoy the celebration.

back in the 40s and 50s in the North of England specifically street parties were common too as my grandma used to talk about them to me when she was alive, there were no albanians, asians or even carebeans either but I guess we can all join in now

Hmm... Bloc party eh? I get it.. You're trying to find a 'cool' beer to replace Guinness or Red Stripe (Not that they're cool, but you know what I mean?) Fair enough But where are the Grandmaster's? Bambataa? Herc? Or, if you date the parties coming from a slightly later period all the 'Ultimate breaks & beats'??! The people on the ad are all too young to know about the origins of bloc parties (You've got to be at least 50 plus) I suspect there's a group of guys thinking.. 'how can we make this beer cool and authentic?' without any research whatsoever!!
