This was so helpful I got one of these tractors from my wife’s grandparents after they passed and didn’t think I’d ever figure out how to use this attachment thank you for the grand info now I can get ready for the snow lol lots of snow up here in NH

Thanks for the video. I know it isn't rocket science, but when you get an older tractor it is hard to know whether you are missing parts if you haven't seen 1 before. It is very hard to find info on some of the 70's and 60's garden tractors. Sears is the only 1 I have found that the manuals are easy and free to get.

Saturday I bought a 1977 Haban snowblower from a fella for $40. It's a bit different than yours. I wish mine was as easy as yours to install. Looks like I'll be posting a video on how to install one like mine at some point.

Rikki I have the same setup on my 68, i need to tighten up the belt for the auger it seems loose. How tight should it be and how do I adjust it.

it should be 3/4" play. with the thrower in the up position and thrower clutch engaged. And the belt on the largest pulley. As far as tightening, well that would be another video. just easier to show than try to explain.
