Won't lie, that pressure will eventually start to hurt then throb then stab, it'll create more pain and it'll be surface pain which can be sensible on the nerves coz of the meds we take and EDS in general. There's too many pressure areas and rubbing, even with strap adjustments there will be loose parts which will rub and then pressure areas 🤷🏻♀️. I'm glad ur likng it tho 👍🏻 hope it helps u. I'll stick to tape and my silver finger splints, thank you.

Whatever works best for each person. It's been over a week, and I haven't had any issues (I'm guessing to the width and material of the straps). I tried tape before, but virtually every type of tape does not agree with my skin, and I get itchy rashes to torn skin. So I'm glad I found something that gives support, and I'm glad that tape helps you get support. We're all zebras and all unique, so why wouldn't our treatment needs be different too?

Is this mainly for support with elbows and wrists or will it help with shoulder support too (or is the core one fine/better for shoulders)? You should also rename this video to include "arm braid" in the title or description! I have been trying to find a video specifically for the arm braid and only stumbled on this because I watched your Body Braid video and you mentioned it at the end (you should also link to this video from your main BB video to make it super easy to find).

That's a good idea. I'll link it later today. I find it is best for elbow support. The best shoulder support is from the core braid. They are working on a new version of the arm braid that I believe includes fingers in some way. I'm excited to see what they've come up with!

My main problem with armbraid is that lowest loop is so loose, that only place it can stay (I have XS ones) is just under elbow. I can't adjust it to stay at my wrist where they should go, they immidiately slide back up, which causes all the rest to slide and twist out of shape. Is there any method to anchor them in place? I think they need to be regulated same way as core part is with velcro, because with very long and skinny arms it won't fit otherwise :(

how long ago did you purchase your Arm Braid? We have a newer version than the one in this video that includes little finger straps at the cuff to help keep the cuff on the wrist.

@@mommingwitheds8506 I have one with finger straps that are digging hard between fingers if I try to use them :(. I'm thinking about taking out whole section and attaching it to other wristbands that I already have (at angle so it won't slide)

@@miramari732 That is an interesting idea. I would recommend taking it to a professional tailor or altering shop to help make sure the intgrity of the material is compromised. If you want to keep trying the finger loops, remember that they can be used in between any of the fingers, together or separate. I find the putting them all in between my thumb and forefinger provides the least amount of tension on my fingers. I also like to keep one of the layers of the wrist cuff in that spot and then spread the finger straps out to the other fingers. This option also reduces finger tension. I believe on my Body Braid Playlist I have a video with the newer arm braid with finger straps if you would like to check that out as well.

@@mommingwitheds8506 Thank you very much! I thought about doing that after I play with it a bit more. Main problem seems to be that my arms are very thin and very long in comparision to my body (158cm height, but 166cm from fingertip to fingertip when arms are spread, but just 12-13cm around wrist - there's reason why I was called stick insect in school), so angle on last loop is completely off and I try to work around that. If I'll decide to do alterations I have good seamstress in mind. I want of course to try all "non nuclear" options first :)
