Next you should show how shape the grip, cause you don't always want to cover cool top graphics.
@skateloser40884 жыл бұрын
Clear grip is best for top graphics because you see the graphic and the veneer, and clear grip goes on just as easy. If you mean cutting little gaps/designs in, the biggest things to pay attention to are making sure there's no air bubbles, making sure there's more grip tape than deck showing, and then cutting the edges just like if you did a whole sheet. Also, if you just want a little stripe down by the back bolts, it's better to cut the sheet and then use the factory edges on the inside, that way you get nice smooth edges on your deck and the rough edge gets cut off anyway

If the wheels and the skateboard is all ready set up are u still aloud to put a grip tape on or we gotta take about the wheels and everything?
@NHSSkateDirect3 жыл бұрын
That's fine except you won't be able to tighten the hardware if it loosens unless you cut the grip to get to the screw head. Also you can use the hardware to get a better idea of where your feet are over the trucks. I'm assuming there's not already griptape on it. Also, if you ever take it apart you'll have to push it back through the grip to get your hardware out which will rip the grip. So if you think you might take it apart before it's completely thrashed I'd take it apart before you grip.

@NHSSkateDirect2 жыл бұрын
It does sound like the bolts are a little short. Sometimes you can tighten them on but you don't want to sink them too deep into the deck by over tightening. Might have to take them back.

@NHSSkateDirect2 жыл бұрын
It's always best to use the washers when you can. If the trucks are too tight you might want to try some softer bushings. Or you can try ride them without a washer for a few days. When cushions break in they squish down a little bit so you can put the washer back on.

how would you do this with riser pads
@NHSSkateDirect4 жыл бұрын
Pretty much the same except you add the risers in between the trucks and deck. !!! Just make sure you the hardware you get is long enough. The bigger the riser pad the longer hardware you will need. Examples: Without risers you can use regular 7/8 or 1 inch hardware. With 1/4 risers you need 1 1/4 inch or longer hardware.
