ALT+Click on the Make pattern button. It'll open a windows explorer showing you what's inside the bundle. There is a test folder with the test.rvt file inside it.

Nah. Revit hatch pattern limitation. But you can draw lines really close to each other

Revit Patterns do not support line thickness. But you can draw two/three lines really close to each other to get thicker lines :D
