I've done a few of these over the years on my own equipment , the bulbs themselves ( of this style ) come in two sizes that I've seen , either 19mm or 22mm which is the outer diameter of the flange , last one I did was the day before yesterday , plans of trimming some thick grass under a fence line in the morning changed to replacing the bulb and a fuel line , still got the job done but a bit later in the day ;-) . Cheers Dave , you're doing a good job there , all the best .

You think? I'm going to keep it around. I have a couple of these powerheads on different implements... they seem to work well. My favorite is still the FS85R 2 stroke!

Primer, prime my engine primer meister, primeeeeeeeeeeeeee for a good time! Yes sir! Easy replacement. And yes, I notice everything, like the engine start and run being 100% identical to your last video lol.

QUESTION: My line trimmer starts but then shuts off. The purge bulb is new. I replaced it. The bulb only fills half way when it purge it. Should the purge bulb be full of fuel after purge or is halfway normal?? Thanks

Greetings sir, I have a cracked purge bulb on my weed whacker also. Could this be the cause of it not hitting the high note at full throttle?

Do you have to drain the fuel tank before you do this procedure?

Is it age that cracks it or UV light? The only issue I’ve ever had with Stihl equipment are these primer bulbs

OK Dave, so I ordered the Purge bulb, they came yesterday. Now I go to remove the Shroud , And what the heck kind of wrench do I need now ? Its like a 6 sided star, but it hugh, and my weed eater is a FS94R, It looks like I am going to have to take off the PULL STARTER STUFF, to get the shroud off ??

Thanks for the help, Dave. Just what I needed to know. (Now all I need to find out is where to get a replacement pan-head screw--IS-D5X20, or equivalent-- for the shroud, which I stupidly lost by taking the thing apart in the back yard, so the screw is now somewhere in the grass.)
