try to find some notes next to the roads near the outpost you visit, you can use them to fast travel on the map if you're hidden in a cardboard box

useful hint for anyone still doing this, if you destroy the communication equipment in free roam the mission will auto complete when you start it and it still gives you progress to levelling up your bond so it makes it faster.

It works: free roam -> destroy the comms and everything -> return to acc -> and start c2w mission -> auto complete

"Mission complete and HOW" yeah Miller, it turns out attack helicopters can be very effective for destroying equipment compared to lone operatives :D

Dude I just started my 10th playthrough of this game. It’s been in my top 3 favorite games of all time since release and it’s sick to see videos still being made about this and seeing people trying it for the first time in 2024. Can’t wait for MGS 3 remake to come out. Still no release date though 😢

I just put a sniper bullet in D-Horse head bc i wanted to see what will happen, i see the -10k gmp pop up, i get -2 bond level at the end of the mission and now this video pops up on my recomandations 💀

Wanna ask, when you shoot all the satellites, and they report it to CP, does it affects outpost alert status? Like from low to medium?

I wouldn’t say it effects the alert status really. Now, if you wanna get the “Perfect Stealth” bonus, I’d say that depends on how soon you can get the satellites destroyed before the enemy soldiers really notice you. Off camera, I did some runs where I would try shooting some of the soldiers just for the fun of it lol And while the results were the same for the most part, it wouldn’t give me the stealth bonus. (I play with reflex mode on, so I can know instantly when I get spotted) So I’d say just try to shoot the satellites as soon as you possibly can, and just let go of the Gatling gun once you’re done and just sit back until the machine ends.
