Leah, can I quilt a quilt before adding the borders, so I don't have to bury all the threads? That way I wouldn't have to bury all the threads. I'm a beginner as far as actual quilting goes, and burying the threads took me for ever on a baby quilt (I did an easy grid pattern).

Hmm...yes, you definitely can wait and add the border at the end. However, I think tying off thread tails is best done as you go so it doesn't end up being a big, time consuming mess right at the end. Does that make sense?

Leah, what batting are you using? I have only used thin cotton. I would love to try that puffy stuff :)
