Thank you for this. Very enlightening! I find myself struggling with gossip. I ask for forgiveness every day. I also have a problem differentiating between just talking and gossiping. I don’t feel like I carry resentment toward anyone, but maybe deep inside I do. Will have to pray more on this issue and ask Jesus to help me know the difference.

Thank you for being so honest about struggling with this stuff!! I do gossip way more than I probably want to admit lol. It’s probably the thing I struggle with the most, mostly out of resentment towards people who were mean to me and this video helped me see that more clearly. It also helped me see why others would gossip about me and the things they may struggle with. Thank you so much for addressing this issue!

Lord have mercy - I think this video was meant for me. I have resentment for my company for decisions that impact employees negatively, and I feel resentment toward “wealthy” people who had everything handed to them by their parents, and I gossip about them. I need to work on this. At the center of this resentment is anger. Anger that life isn’t fair.

hey fr. columba! shout out from manila! this video helped me work out some anger that i have been praying and confessing for in the past year. it was a real eureka moment. what a blessing when the Holy Spirit slices through like that. it was a clear arrow to the wound but the immediate feeling of love and tenderness that followed was like a salve. can't really explain it but keep doing this please. nothing short of a miracle what the 8 minutes did. peace! ✌🏼

Some of my resentments take so long to let go of! Just when I think I’m finally ready to stop resenting harms done me I find myself reciting the story with plenty of details that just aren’t important. “He did that to me but guess what HE was doing! How dare he?” I’m the good guy. I was so holy and he was so much worse! Hmmm - thought you’d accepted that hardship was what you really needed to be led where you are right now? Really? Annoying the sites that post “upcoming”. Why in the world would you need to post upcoming? It’s like being solicited by telemarketing folk. Upcoming just annoys folk. One site does that and then they post “cancelled” they put five posts a day on my feed of nothing. “Upcoming” is purely distracting nonsense. I hate upcoming posts, and unsubscribed to them.
