If u push it forward with your palm and don't push down on the button that sits on top of the shifter, it will move from Sport to Drive but it won't allow it to go any further forward into Nuetral. Try it out, you'll see what I mean.

Just a note about Snow/Wet: along with dampening throttle response(which I am not 100% sure that it does, actually) it targets higher gears than Normal, in order to reduce net wheel torque. It can actually be a bit helpful when leaving in bad conditions, since 1st gear is about 4.7:1 and 2nd is about 3.0:1, leaving you with about 35% less wheel torque than Normal mode. That aside, thanks for the pointer! I like learning all my cars, and this helps to shorten the learning curve for this one.

My experience with the 10 speed: With 3.15 gear second gear at 50 pulls like a freight train. Valve bodies are notorious for causing shift issues but the throttle body is also a major component of shift profiles. Removing the air shutters cause extended warmup times but lead to never seeing over 200 unless heavily tracking. Even then its tough to get it over 214°. Adaptive relearns are necessary after replacement of faulty engine components to promote optimal line pressures at all scenarios.

@@oliciofernandes2526 I'm referring to the rear diff when saying the 3.15. You can check via Vin or the tag that's on the diff will tell you as well. If you bought it new or used with full specs it'd be on that paperwork as well.

I got a pp1 ecoboost non premium. It’s a strange drive cause it leans more towards being a track car but is an ok daily driver. I wish I had the snow and wet mode as well as sport plus mode but I’m not unhappy with my stang. I really love it

I know everybody swears by drag mode, but I've tested it multiple times on my dragy and it consistently traps slower than track mode. It feels faster with the aggressive shifts, but it isn't actually as fast for some reason. I run my fastest times in track.

Kind of similar to the stark contrast between 6th & 7th? If so, I think it has to do with the intent behind the gearing choice. As well as how the transmission physically works, with all its multi-clutch NON-dual-clutch ness.

Are you tuned? The lower gears will inherently shift harder due to all the clutch packs engaging in the lower gears. With my Lund tune in normal mode it shifts super smooth cruising and at wide open throttle.

Sometimes the tires chirp in drag mode when it shifts. This will sometimes cause the traction light to flash and it will limit power that’s why I just turn it off one time but I leave advance track on

Most if not all tuners will enable auto up shift while in S mode. So you can roll race from the gear you want, but you dont have to shift it back into D.

Peak power starts around 6000rpm so any roll that you can start around that rpm or higher will be the better gear choice for the coyote.

Pilot sport 4s are garbage. Use pilot super sports. Look very similar, but stickier. If you have over 450 wheel hp use R888R's.
