Sound human, avoid the usual bland corporate nonsense and make the message personable. I've sold and been sold to via LinkedIn and the vast majority feel like corporate templates with the majority of the message focused on how amazing their company/product is and what it can do instead of focusing on them. My most successful conversations are the result of a a personal message focused on something they or their business has done with a single line on why I'm looking to connect.

the HUGE point here is the TIME! ... if there is a job opportunity you are not able to wait 1, 2 or 3 weeks before asking about the job... after 3 weeks there will be no job!... I believe that the real question is: are there any strategies to do networking express? YES there are! the thing is that all of these ¨specialists says exactly the same... is like reading the same old book.
