Hello Edie, I just received this book today. I happened upon this video because I've been watching how to crochet videos all day today. Your instructions are very understandable (seems to be general consensus here). I did not open your book before realizing this video goes with your book when I saw the pictures. Your book(s) are beautiful. I have three of them so far. I love your color choices and the diagrams in your books and now your videos. A new crochet FAN of your. Thank you for writing great books and these videos!

This was SO helpful! I've just started crocheting and I'm so glad I found this tutorial. Lots of good advice, especially about doing it in small bites. I've been trying to understand the whole chart, which is really overwhelming. Thank you!

I would have liked you to crochet along whilst reading the pattern, it would have helped me to understand the pattern and the terminology for future projects that I might try. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

Was very helpful to get a little refresher. Wondering though, is there a good video that instructs how to get gauge? I don't think I have ever been taught how to do that. Thanks!

Still doesn’t explain what kind of yarn I need. How to do I translate the tiny thin baby yarn I know I will need by the words gauge 11sts=2” stock st? The labels on yarn give square 4x4 gauges.
