Hugely helpful. Some of this info I have spent many hours searching answers for online. You were very clear and precise in what you presented. Thank you

Just seen your video. (two years after)......lol. Great stuff. I only use Series X and wish its print out function worked. Unless I am doing it wrong. Thank you for your simple explanation. Really helpful.

In the temperature section, letter M used for minus ... eg M04 for -4.
@BritishAvgeek3 жыл бұрын
Yep indeed! Skirted over that though I did mention that minus is shown differently to plus temps 👍

Good video but a little close from the paper would be better on my screen i was far and unable to read it
@BritishAvgeek3 жыл бұрын
Indeed that's the limitation with this video - big screens are better to view the paper ... I was in Max Zoom myself so couldn't get any closer to the paper sadly! That said, I just checked on my mobile phone, and in landscape and 1080p it was perfectly readable!

Very good ! Id like to understand the reason that we still use certain conventions in air flight... especially the abbrev in flight plans and metar. Why on earth - memory and computers are cheap - digital screens are large and easier to read. Yet we use the most difficult "code " like our wives might be listening. I mean seriously "they" (whoever they are ) cant spell out "Showers" or "thunderstorms". I mean DZ might be interpreted on the teeny tiny paper as "Danger Zoo" birds you know.... i digress. I used to dislike the overuse of icons, but they seem more meaningful than this. I know you are not in charge but who is ? Merry Christmas.
