This is crazy. Ive been researching how to read plugs on E85 the last day and a half, an this video pops up! The car gods looking down on me.

Just so you know they dont run E85 they run VP C25, thats 120+ octane variation of cam 2, pointless running nitrous with an ethanol or methanol product, nitrous reacts to combustion heat the better the heat the more the nos reacts an builds power, etha an meth run way cooler than gas, wont make as much power on a kit.

So after you warm the motor up you got a stick your hands in there why it’s hot and change the plugs? Seems counterproductive sorry I’m new to nitrous

Hey Justin any way I can get that Piston? I know you're a busy guy but I'm a huge fan I've been outlaw radial and 10.5 racing since the late 80s back at 75 and 80 drag strip in Monrovia Maryland. The Piston would be a great add on to my collection thanks for your consideration 👍😀

NGK is the way to go hands down. Most guys run autolite because its what they ran for years. Years ago nobody ran NGK because it was foreign.

I just can't see the risk vs reward when it comes to nitrous. It seems like turbo's are more consistent as far as reliability. And with boost by gear and a scramble button. You can control how the boost comes in with co2 . Do you only build nitrous cars or you do everything?
@maj.kamper93145 жыл бұрын
Your right, and I know it's his money to do with as he wishes. But when you are talking a 30-50k engine. once it's all said and done racing is about being consistent. Who can run that fast 1/8th mile everytime and get down the track the quickest. So that's why I asked . I like the content and subbed a while back

Keep in mind this appears To be gas and not methanol.
@topseykretts2515 жыл бұрын
I dont know many people who run methanol or ethanol and nitrous, Induction solutions did my kit and they explained it as gas produces more combustion heat and nitrous reacts better to heat, methanol runs to cool. Basically be wasting money on a kit and not getting full potential.

You say a whole lot but REALLY didn’t say a whole lot. You should explain explicitly what you mean. What does the fuel line need to look like vs what it shouldn’t….what exactly does the timing mark look like? What does it look like at different stages? What color is it?
