I wish each image had large numbers next to them that way when you click 1, 2, 3, 2, 3, 2,1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 5, 6, etc it would make a lot more sense with where we're at. Thanks for posting.

Underneath my humeral head was all white on my mri today.. I struggle with over head activity when raising my arm over my head

You don't tell which image has what type of MRI imaging, either it's T1 T2 or flare?

I’ve complained for years about my left shoulder, did the conservative way with PT and anti inflammatory medicine and nothing. I finally got my MRI and MRI results back. I have an appointment with a sports medicine doctor in about 2.5 weeks to talk about my results. Just a quick FYI I’ve played baseball all my life, started pitching at 13 and I’m currently 32. My question is, from a scale 1-10 how bad is my shoulder? And will I need surgery? (Not asking for advice, just asking about personal opinion) •Chronic Anterior labral tear •Chronic posterior rim fracture at the glenoid associated with diffuse posterior tearing •Small paralabral cyst with diffuse adjacent fluid •Chronic Hill-Sachs injury •full-thickness cartilage loss at the posterior rim of glenoid. Thank you in advance 🙏🏼💪🏼🫡

I have heard that there are different mris. I had an MRI with contrast, which they put into the vein of my arm. I’ve heard that there’s an mr arthrogram where the contrast goes into the actual joint. So, I’m assuming mine was not an arthrogram because the injection didn’t go into the joint. It went into the vein of my arm?

Yup, you just had a contrast MRI where an iv contrast was used to highlight some tissues more than others

Someone please explain a torn rotator cuff tendon? I was just told this and i can't find any info on torn tendons.

Tendonsare whatattach your muscles to your bones. A tendon tear is usually wheb the twndon either comes off its attachment to the bone, or is ripped in two across the middle of the tendon

which shoulder is it, right or left? and are you looking from the front of the person or from the back?

@@UK_hotspot are you sure? Because from the top down view, they said the front was on the top of the picture and the back was on the bottom of the picture.

At one point they say this is straight on which I took to mean from the front, hence left. They pointed out the supraspinatus and that is visible from the back. Hence this must be the right shoulder. It’s a shame that they do such a good job explaining so much yet miss clearly specifying which shoulder.

@@stevel512 At around the 5 minute mark he does the top-down view in which he points out the front and back of the body. In that view it must be the right shoulder.
