You ever make a ton of noise setting stands and hang a cam and 2 hours after you leave deer come and check it out

Damn you guys didnt need to call me out like that at 1:05 😅🤣 Another great piece of content from you guys. Hunting smarter is a much better choice. Instead of me just saying "I need to be in the woods to kill a deer" Saw 2 deer in a total of 12 hours of hunting between two days - I would say I need to do more scouting.

This fall I've found a few spots that were Buck bedding areas, but it was already to late to hunt there by mid October. If your not hunting for mature Bucks only, wouldn't it be a good idea to hunt when the bucks were in there in early October ? Close to bedding.
@HUNTRPOD2 жыл бұрын
Man I still believe mid October cold front near bedding will be better than peak rut hunting
@charlesleblanc66382 жыл бұрын
@@HUNTRPOD Definitely agree, but I believe that being there when the Bucks were using the area, even before mid October was/is my only option, since they were in there early from the sign they left behind. I found the sign to late this fall.

I been to that now zone in 93 or 94 Then hunted in cold lake area. I was with some old dude who had the bow zone bucks down cold...he was a driver and saw them all the time

Love your content guys! I have a question for y’all. I have been tracking this 4.5 year old buck since Halloween and he only presents himself at nighttime. I did just get a picture of him right after dark where I believe he could be bedding. How would you guys approach this to try and key in on this buck

Hey Rino - what state are you in? That will determine the approach

I've hunted and hiked the Chestnut Ridges all my life. God's country. They're actually called that because before the blight that killed all the American Chestnuts these ridges were loaded with them.

Back in the day, we had “history” with a deer. Today, we have “data” on deer. Lots has changed but there’s something special about reading old journals about a hunt. Today, we’re getting cell cam videos of deer fighting and making scrapes.

Hey awesome episode! One question, if you are hunting does, do you go hard in October, or would you wait for the end of the month/November - will there be more does moving then? It’s an area like big woods where you can’t dial in the food sources, not many deer, and the deer wander.a lot. Thanks!
