My opk was completely negative 2 days ago then yesterday morning my clear blue was flashing and my cheap opk was getting darker but still neg, then yesterday at 4pm my clear blue was static & my cheapie was as dark as the control line and now this morning my cheapie is darker then then control line, so my question is do I take it from yesterday when it’s as dark as or this morning when the line is Darker then the control line? When should I realistically ovulate? I find it so confusing

It should be darker than the control line, and when it is you will ovulate in the next 24-36 hours. Meaning, you can start having sex in the next day or two.

Super helpful and easy to understand, though I wonder if anyone has the clearblue with only 1 smiley wich I do so how would I know if that one is peaking since it'll only show 1 smiley the same on both a high and a peak reading? Thanks great question Me I have had faint line since my last day of my period until today . And my ovulation date hasn't passed yet is on the 10 or 11 th of October so I don't understand anything. I think if you have 28 days cycle you should have sex from the day your period has finished until the 14th day or why not until 16 th day That simple as that . But a sperm lasts up to 5 days in your body so I shall not miss it at all .

Me i don't understand. I must be worrying for nothing My cycle is 28 I have been testing since my last day of my last period which i think it too early . The matter is that I want this baby too much for December so I am practicing. I am planning on having it in December and don't want to miss out on the period. So according to the calculation is from the 10 th day to probably 24 hours after the ovulation day (14th day ) which is the 10 of this month or 11 th of this month . So when I was doing the test I was seeing a faint one normally then today I just done 2 I see it almost blank ,fainter. So I don't understand anything Maybe the day before today was the right time or I have to wait again until Monday( 14th day ovulation date 10 October ) and Tuesday . I have been worried for many weeks about the baby . What do you think ? But anyway I think having sex with the ovulation date included is great!isn't it ? Having sex up to the ovulation date or date . Plus the sperm can stay up to 3 or 5 days .

What does it mean when two lines are dark ? I took a test one day before ovulation it was a faint line than tomorrow 2 dark lines, then one day past ovulation was a faint line again?!

I believe two dark means positive for LH. That’s your ovulation window. I also hear LH surge can last about 24- 48 hours before you ovulate. :)

Usually you ovulate 12-24 hours after your peak reading after you get a peak reading your LH levels will start to decrease and the line will go back faint after the peak time

it doesn't as long as you don't drink lots of water right before testing (it dilutes the hormone) and yes testing at the same time daily makes it more accurate

When the LH hormone in your body surges, it happens in the morning so it’s said to test later on like between 11am-2pm or later so that way the hormone has time to get into your urine. Unlike a pregnancy test where you’d want to use first morning urine.

I think so. Once you get your high, you should be testing every 4/5 hours if possible. That way, you don’t miss your peak.

That's not how it works hun, when they say "low,high,peak" it is referring to a hormone buildup that triggers your body to release an egg. When you release an egg, that is ovulation. So the point of these tests is to help determine when you will ovulate by measuring the amount of hormones, just like a pregnancy test. If the test picks up peak hormone levels, it's likely you will ovulate within 12-48 hours of that high reading. It still is not an absolute way to know exactly the moment you ovulate, but it's a pretty accurate way to know. However, you cannot get pregnant until after you ovulate. If you are testing "low", given the test is accurate then you are not fertile yet and cannot get pregnant.
