This is exactly how i got my positive with my 3rd! Tho my lines werent as dark as these it still showed exactly when I caught the surge and when ovulation had indeed occured. I was bang on the date when I had my first scan. I got my first positive at 10dpo and I think I was 3wks 5days... I waited till 7wks to get my scan as sometimes 6wks can be hard to pick up.

Hi, I'm also TTC with irregular cycle for past 1.5 years, TTC 6 now finally get my proper today (CD35) clear positive opk 🤞, i did bd two days ago, and will continue next 3 days hopefully😁 this will be our month😊, my hubby expecting us to be parents more than myself. Initially planning to visit doctor if i didn't ovulate till cd45. so there is a glimpse of hope.

I had a CM at 5wks, i didnt track with the strip but the app, git preg straight away. Past 2m i got a negative test tho ive been tryjng during my ovulation window. So now im trying to track my ovulation with the strips. Its been 10 days since my period finished on the 9th Aug day started on 2nd. Ive check for ovulation this morning CD 13 i think, 9am i got a strong positive, then check in the afternoon 2pm it was negative. This is confusing. I think ill stick to the app and just pray, God will bless me again when the times right. I think my bodys healing still.

Ive started my TTC journey.. cycle #1... i've been watching all these TTc videos...OPK progression line videos ...&1 thing i dont understand is... how do you know what day is 1 DPO? How are u supposed to measure that becoz we dont know exactly when we ovulated.. we can get dark double lines 2 days in a row... so then when is 1 DPO starting?

Hey! So the only way to confirm ovulation, at home, is to temp your BBT (basal body temperature). There are a multitude of great sources online and on youtube that can explain this in detail since it can be a bit overwhelming, but ultimately the only true way to confirm what 1 DPO would be. In the event that you are only using OPKs, it's true that you can receive multiple high/peak readings in a cycle. I would just ensure that you are optimizing the days in which you receive those dark lines, as well as the 2-3 days following when trying to conceive being that you tend to ovulate 12-48 hours after a peak OPK. Hope this helps a bit :) I definitely recommend looking into temping and charting your BBT, it worked well for me as someone with irregular cycles.

Sounds like it is too early. For reference, if you have a "regular" cycle (note that it just means you are having a cycle every 28 days) you would ovulate around day 14. I would continue testing! For reference, I have always had irregular cycles and would only begin to test using OPKs CD12-14. Do you have examples of how long your previous cycles were?

Hi! I would scan as a means for logging, but I always found keeping in a notebook and tracking line progression that way (as shown in the video) was much more effective for me. The numbers in the app are not always correct/indicative of anything and different lighting can impact that. Saving in a notebook provides more consistency from my POV. Most important thing you're looking for is to ensure the test line becomes just as dark & darker than the control line

I have irregular cycles, I started testing on cycle 15, it was high around 0.58 then it kept decreasing until 0.1 after 7 days of continuous testing twice a day daily So have I already ovulated maybe before cycle day 15? Yet I didn’t see any signs of ovulation before cycle 15, or I didn’t ovulate ? Please advise ?

The most accurate way to confirm ovulation at home is to track your basal body temperature daily (a lot of great books/resources out there that go into detail about it). Without seeing your strips or knowing your history, it's possible you either ovulated early or not at all yet. Definitely pay attention to physical signs of ovulation such as cervical mucus. I would keep testing, I've had cycles where I ovulated much later than normal

How is that 🤔 on you first cycle your ovulated on day 22 but on the second cycle you ovulate on 16 . Does that mean that we should always start around day 13 onwards because the ovulation is not going to be the same day since the cycle are irregular right?

It's definitely the hardest part with irregular cycles trying to TTC, not having a clear idea on when you will ovulate since it can vary month to month. Because of this, I do think picking a "safe" day to start testing with OPKs would be the way to go rather than switching that up from month to month. It will be easier to identify trends that way as well.

Hi! So the way to do this accurately is to confirm ovulation first. Once you know what day you ovulated, you can better determine which day to start testing. The “safest” day to test would be 14DPO (14 days past ovulation) but in this video I tested 12 DPO
